She was predeceased by: her husband Simeon; her parents, Phyllis Giles and Matthew Giles; her mother-in-law Fanny Giles; and her siblings, Mary, Minnie, Margaret, Thomas, Wilfred, Raymond, Hubert, Ivan and James Ashford.
She is survived by: her children, Dora Marsden (James), Annie Courtney (Gerald), Craig Cornish (Jody), Corwin Cornish (Ita), Michael Kendall (Louise) and Madero Kendall (Tanya); and her siblings, Irene, Dorcas and George.
