Allan Leroy Thistle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan Leroy Thistle of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his son Craig; his parents, Bessie Thistle and Thomas Thistle; his brother Chesley Thistle (Tess); and his sister-in-law Geraldine Norberg.

He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Karen), Scott (Yong) and Paul (Rhonda); his granddaughters, Melissa and Rebecca; his siblings-in-law, Don (Sandra), Guy (Genevieve), Harold (Beverly), Doreen (Jim Acton), Jeannette (William Kennedy) and Joanne (Wally Driscoll); and his close friends, Arthur Payne, Ronald and Florence Husk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First United Church, Mount Pearl in Allan's name.
