It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Barnes of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Grant, Melvin, Carl and Marjorie Mullett; and her sister-in-law Ada Bell.

She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Walter Jr., Stephen (Kim), Todd Tremblett and Holly Rowsell (Bruce); her grandchildren, Andrew, Jessica, Heather, Joshua (Brandi), Jonathan (Holly) and Liam Gibbons (Megan); her stepgrandchildren, Kylie Pelly (Matthew) and Mackenzie Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Bently, Dawson and Mackenzie; and her siblings-in-law, Edward (late Geraldine), Jean Zamenick (late Charles), Ruby Smith (Harold), Lorraine Murphy (Jim) and Diane Barnes.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Catherine's memory to honor her love for animals the S.P.C.A.
