We are sad to announce that, on March 3, 2024, at the age of 90, Cecil Hender of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, born in Gambo, Newfoundland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecil Hender to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosanna; his parents, Alfred Hender and Ada Hender; his siblings, Doug, Claude and Shirley Short (Frank); and his brother-in-law William Whiteway (Selma).
He is survived by: his son Donald (Sujatha); his siblings, Calvin, Clayton (Winnie), Evelyn Locke (Derek) and Scott (Wendy); and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Hender and Jean Hender. He is also survived by many nephew, nieces, cousins and good friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made Cecil's memory to The St. Andrews Anglican Cemetery Committee, Goose Bay, Labrador, or to the Heart and Stroke and Kidney Foundations.
