He was predeceased by: his father Hayward Russell; his parents-in-law, Harry and Shirley Martin; and his brothers-in-law, Frankie and Harry Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Anne; his stepdaughters, Kimberley Manning (Craig Pochini) and Kelly Manning (Curtis Smith); his grandchildren, Meagan, Emma Tucker, Brooklyn, Jaxon and Sophie Smith; his mother Lillian; his siblings, Sharon Hunt (Weston), Rosalie Russell (Michael), Lillian Caines (Sean), Juanita Miller (Wayne) and Jim (Hope); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Martin, Donna Duffett (Paul) and Jeannie Martin (Chris). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
No flowers by request, however donations may be made in Dion's memory to Our Lady Queen of Families Church in Mount Pearl.
