Edna May Purchase Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna May Purchase (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lawrence and Mary Lawrence (Corner Brook); and her brothers, George (Rita) and Michael. She is survived by: her husband Edgar; her children, Carl (Calgary), Susan Reilly (Len) of Debert, NS, Marilyn Scovil (Paul) of Bridgewater, NS, Mike of Calgary, AB, Lance of Calgary, AB and Joe (Renee) of Mount Pearl, NL; her grandchildren, Mark Reilly (Karine), Andrew Reilly (Emily), Lisa Laker (Jamie), Nathan, Sara, Sean (Sarah), Julia, Justin, Adam and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Adele, Alexane, Kyna and Kieran; her siblings, Jean Callahan (Jim), Peggy of Carbonear, NL and Stanley of Corner Brook, NL; and her friend Labrador. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society NL or The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
