She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill"; and her parents, Baxter and Doris. She is survived by: her sisters, Rose, Winnie and Mildred; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Mary Hayter; her brothers-in-law, Wilson and Dennis Hayter; her children, Derek (Theresa) and Diane; her grandchildren, Robert, Megan, Cory (Sheena) and Andrea (Larry); her great grandchildren, Joshua (Sarah), Jaylynn, Jessica, Leah, Quinn, Ryland and Neveah; her great great grandchild Hunter; her sisters, Margaret, Doris and Gloria; her siblings-in-law, Nina, Chuck, Basil and Gordon; and her caregiver Amy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Funeral Home Mount Pearl Chapel - Mt. Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Twillingate for the upkeep of St. Andrew's Cemetery via emt to [email protected]. (https://[email protected].).
