It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hearn (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Hearn; her parents, Alice Hamlyn and Robert Hamlyn; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Hamlyn, Charlie Hamlyn and Anna McCarthy.

She is survived by: her son Will Hearn; her siblings, Alice Blundon (Edgar), Mary Holloway, Clare Sikorsky (Mike), Cathy Parsons (Richard), Jim Hamlyn (Dallas), Brenda Humby (Derrick) and Max Hamlyn (Ken McNaughton); her sisters-in-law, Geraldine Hamlyn and Georgina Martin; and her caregiver Ruby Manor.

In lieu of flowers, or donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Gathering Place or Our Lady Queen of Families Parish.
