He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Myrtle; his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Simeon Miller; his brother Robert; his siblings-in-law, George Miller, Leonard Miller, Herman Miller, Charles Crowley, Jordan Barnes, Alma Miller, Ann Miller and Greta Price; and his nephew Todd Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his daughters, Beverley (Richard) and Bernice (Doug); his grandchildren, Lindsay Woodford, Susan Atkinson (Jon), Matthew Woodford (Monica) and Melissa Atkinson (Blake); and his siblings, Ambrose, Helen Barnes, Lori Crowley and Melita Crocker (Max). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; extended family and a wide circle of friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Ernest's memory to The Church of the Good Shepherd in Mount Pearl.
