He was predeceased by : his wife Rosemary; his son Foster; his parents, Clarence Taylor and Florence Taylor; and his brothers, Clarence Junior, Dave (Priscilla), Sam (Mary) and Carlson.

He is survived by : his children, Gerry (Marie), Derek (Michelle), Don (Terri) and Penny Ennis (Paul); his grandchildren, Melanie (Andrew), Chelsea (Greg), Mark (Erin), Scott (Emma), Rebecca, Robert and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Jordyn and Jack; and his siblings, Bernice Fitzpatrick (Mike), Gloria Bickford (Charle), Beulah O'Reilly (Paton), Roma Clarke (Lorne), Judy Bartlett (Albert), Debbie Slade (Lee) and Fraser.

“In loving memory of Gerald Taylor, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I remember both your father and mother and their kindness to my mom, Ruth Daly ,when she lived next door to them on Sunrise Ave, Your Mom and Dad were always there with kind words, visits, soup and cookies and quietly keeping an eye on things,. I will never forget them. You have been blessed to have them in your lives and they in turn were blessed to have such wonderful children..”
