He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis and Josephine; his father-in-law Edward Fitzgerald; his siblings, Llewellyn and Marie Swannie (Edward); and his brother-in-law Larry Felt.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Jacalynn (Chris), Jerry (Sarah), Keith (Charlene) and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Jameson, Sterling, Arianna, Lucas, Emily, Brooklynn, Leah and Blake; his siblings, Cliff (Libby), Shirley Kielly (Hubert), Muriel Felt and Dan (Lucy); his mother-in-law Diane Fitzgerald; his siblings-in-law, Roger (Karen), Ed (Jan), Rodney (Linda) and Jackie Fitzgerald; and his close friends, Roy Smith, Joan Peddle and Steve White. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gerard's memory to a charity of one's choice.
