He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his parents, Mary Ann and William; his siblings, John Pike, James Pike (Ida), Allan Pike (Doreen), Don, Lillian Baker (Alexander), Margaret Leftault (Bernard), Alice McGrath (William) and Penney (Art); and his grandson Mark Kane.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Randy), Gordie (Lorna), Jeannie, Darlene and Jimmy (Tina); his grandchildren, Jeannie (Steven), Jackie (Scott), Jennie (Gerald), Randi (Dave), Jess (Rob), Raymond (Jenelle), Raylene (Dave), Jeremy (Gloria), Bailey (Dylan), Dawson, Shannon, Michelle (Johnny), Chris and Jamie Kane; his granddaughter-in-law Tracy Kane; his great grandchildren, Janelle, Erin, Nicholas, Gabrielle, Alexis, Charlotte, Madi, Mackenzie, Olivia, Delilah, Addison, Lilly, Gemma, Seanne, Cohen, Dakota, Gary, Faith, Natalie, Jeanette, Nolan and Julie Kane; his sister-in-law Edith Pike; and his friends, Barb Jordan, Tommy Moore, Gord Howlett, Randy Breen and Rod Breen.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shea Heights Community Centre (130 Linegar Ave, Shea Heights, NL A0A1J0).
Donations in memory of Gord can be made to the Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation or the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
