Hedley Toope Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hedley Toope of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth; his parents, Ernest Toope and Faith Toope; his parents-in-law, Fred and Letitia Johnson; his siblings, Stuart, Ernest, Audrey Ivany and Geraldine Garland; and his siblings-in-law, Jessie Toope, Evelyn Toope, Sidney King, Albert Dalton, Irvin Vaters and Stirling Ivany.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Cynthia (Tony Eddy), Sherry (Allan Carey) and Faith; his granddaughter Stacey (Su); his siblings, Calvin (Fay), Ruby Vaters and Erma Dalton; and his brother-in-law Fred Garland.
