He is survived by: his niece Margaret Mary Making; his sons, Jimmy Making (Jocko) and Darryl Making; his daughters-in-law, Regina Making and Kimberley Rice; his great grandchild Macy Goulding; his children, Leona (Richard), Yvonne, Sharon (Randy), Colette (Wayne), John and Danita; and his great grandchildren, Rodney (Jesse), Mandy (Elissa), Nancy, Michael, Krista, Shannon, Stacey, Ashleigh, Stephen (Claire), Andrew, Colin, Christopher, Stephanie (Walker), Jordan (Jace), Andrea, Tyler (Michael) and Kristen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barretts Funeral Home (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel.
