It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerome James Kavanagh of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Lena Watts; his parents, Stephen and Lucy; his siblings, Stephen and Carol Ann Williams (late Walter); and his brothers-in-law, Leo, Freddie, Alex and Dave.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Newman); his children, Lorne (Deanne), Kim Hull (Dennis) and Blair (Amanda); his grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Connor, Madison, Morgan Hull, Tyler, Jonathan, Wyatt and Walker Wiens; his brothers, Mike, Gabe (Carol) and Brian (Marianne); his in-laws, Emily Watts, Alice Brennan (late John), Minnie Edison (Jimmy), Mary Tobin (Don), Margaret Dunphy (late Bernard) and Tish Brown (late Wilf); and his stepchildren, Wanda Hickey (Ronnie), Debbie Gosling (Allen), Raymond Newman (Lori) and Daphne Morefield (Dave). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
