John Granville Bemister Obituary

We bid farewell to John Granville Bemister of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 22, 2025 at the age of 85. John Granville touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bemister of Mt. Pearl and Beatrice; his sister Sandra Bemister; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ivany (Doug) and Maureen Roche (Richard); and his parents-in-law, Mary and Edward Whelan.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his daughters, Rhonda (Marvin) and Janell (Michael); his grandchildren, Elissa, Ashley, Jeremy (Ryan), Jonathan and Michael; and his close friend Art.
