He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lionel Oakley and Irene Elizabeth Oakley; and his brothers, Lionel, Angus and Neville Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie Oakley; his son James (Kim); his grandsons, Stephen and James (Crystal); his great grandchild Jack; and his niece Karalynne Greeley. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
