She was predeceased by: her husband John Francis Traverse; her parents, Lucy Shelley and Stephen Shelley; her siblings, Gerald, Stephen, James Shelley and Angela Drover; and her granddaughter Madeline Strang.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Lewis (Mike), Eugene (Leslie), Juanita Strang of Dundas, ON, Colleen Combden (Brian), Audrey (Aubrey) of Corner Brook, NL and John (Becky) of Cobourg, ON; her grandchildren, Pamela (Chad), Amanda, Michael (Ashley), Alex, Jeremy, Steven, Jeffrey, Kimberley (Patrick), Brooke (Jesse), Rebecca, Autumn (Will), Brittany and Julia; her great grandchildren, Abbagail, Miah, Sydney, Taylor, Oliver, Colin, Westin and Rylynn; and her siblings, William, Thomas, Patrick and Elizabeth.
