He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Jessie Rixon; and his parents, Jessie Collins and Henry Collins. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Lisa Bussey (Brent) and Wanda Bussey (Eric); his grandchildren, Gracie, Maggie, Carter and Erica; his brothers, Robert Collins (Josephine) and Albert Collins (Louise Banfield); his siblings-in-law, Florence Norman (Don), Frances Edwards (Cel), Lorriane Barry, Ruth Goldsworthy, Doug (Jessie), Tom (Susan) and Ern Goldsworthy (Deloris); and his caregiver Ken.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel.
