We announce the death of Kevin Francis Power of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 80. Kevin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Power and Lillian "Jean" Power (Johnston); his in-laws, Mary and David McDonald; and his sisters, Jean Duke (late Frank) and Carol Densmore (late Pat).
He is survived by: his son Kevin; his wife Geraldine; his sons, Glen, Blair (Stephanie) and Poppy; his grandchildren, Sam and Marlo; his siblings, Betty Smith (late Gil), Ruby Clements (Jim), Ros Broomfield (late Bob), Bernadette Haynes, Peter Power (Pauline), Madonna Crickard (late Mike), Yvonne Richards (Jim), Kenny Power (Sheila), Brenda Hamlyn (Gerald) and Susan Mercer (John); and his niece Jennifer O'Dell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home Mount Pearl Chapel - Mt. Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7).
