She was predeceased by: her sons, Albert (late Charlotte) and Clifford; and her close friend Levi Peddle. She is survived by: her children, Winnifred Walsh (late Mike), Joseph (Sadie), Harold (Rita), Cyril (Classie) and Gerald (Pauline); and her spouse Thomas Mackey. She is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren.
Mary survived the Great Depression (October 1929-1939), World War II (1939-1945), Asian Flu (1957-1958), AIDS pandemic (1971-present), H1N1 Swine Flu pandemic (2009-2010), West African Ebola (2014-2016), Zika Virus 2015-present) and COVID-19 (2020-present).
