It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes Burke (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brennan and Elizabeth Brennan (Leo); and her siblings, Joseph, Arthur, Felix, Raymond and Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Peggy Earles) and Michael (Deena Doyle); her grandchildren, Laura, Riley, Lindsay and Leah; and her siblings, Bernice (Allan), Hardy, Betty (Charlie), Synard, Mildred (Peru) and Dolorosa.
As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation.
