Myrtle Penney Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Penney of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Myrtle Penney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Warren Sellars (Florence), Florence Cooper (Sam), Lorraine Parsons, Calvert Sellars (Joyce) and Stella Baggs; and her granddaughter Savannah.

She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, David (Sharon) and Greg (Laurel); her grandchildren, Heather (Kyle), Julia (Mathew), Mark, Jared (Rebekah), Adrienne (Yves), Cameron and Dawson; her great grandchildren, Owen, Aurelia and Novalie; her sister Alma Adams (Max); and her siblings-in-law, Russell Parsons, Burton Baggs, Charles Penney (Rita), Ivy Ivany and Dorothy Senior (George). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Myrtle's memory to the Newfoundland Cancer Care Foundation.
