Nina Legge Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2026, at the age of 85, Nina Legge of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, Malcolm Clarke and Ella Clarke; her brothers, Ralph, Bill, Ted and Roy; her brother-in-law Fred Taylor; and her nephew Johnaton Roy Clarke.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mac (Lynda) of Manitoba and Ella Mae Taylor; her children, Marie Dowden (Paul), William James Grosse Pointe (Jennifer) and Robert George (Darlene Nash); her grandchildren, Amanda Seward (Curtis), Stephanie Legge (John Hyde), Anthony Legge, Aaron Dowden (Krystyn Hawco), Natalie Legge, Silas, Jonas Wooten and Aaron Nash; and her great grandchildren, Owen, James Hyde, Kanon and Kolton Seward.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Grace's memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family has chosen to send donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation Donate Now (https://www.heartandstroke.ca).
