She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald; her parents, Vera Whalen and Thomas St. John; her stepfather Jim Whalen; her in-laws, Jim and Ellen Gale; her brothers, Tom and Peter St. John; and her siblings-in-law, Millie St. John, Paul Veitch and Jimmy Gale.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Anne), Pat (Theresa), Geraldine (Carl) and Kathy (Rick); her grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew, Jared (Jessica), Brent (Meghan), Megan (Mike), Ricky (Alana) and Christopher (Ambriel); her great grandchildren, Callie, Axel, Tori, Mason, Alexander, Parker, Ian, Zakai, Zaydan and Zanakin; her siblings, Dianne (late Paul) and David (Marg); her sisters-in-law, Alice, Rose and Lynda; and her close friend Evelyn Power.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery.
