She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: John "Jack" Philpott; son: Gerard (Janet); daughters: Jackie and Kathy (Warren); grandchildren: Sean (Kenzie), James, Sam, Theo, and Caleb; great-granddaughter: Daisy; parents: James and Mary McCarthy; sister: Maureen McCarthy; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Nick (Francis), Brian (Cynthia), Gary (Madonna), Ray (Donna), Jim, Terry, and Marie; deceased siblings-in-law: Billy, Frank, Ellen, Patsy, Jane, Betty, Linda, and Bob Clarke; deceased special friends: Frances and Steve Spracklin and Bonnie Byrne; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and members of the extended Philpott and McCarthy families.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Families Parish (110 Ashford Dr, Mount Pearl, NL A1N2Z5). The inurnment was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Patricia's memory to the School Lunch Association of Newfoundland and Labrador or the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or a charity of one's choice.
