As we bid Paul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Finch (Jack) and Rosena Finch; his sisters, Virginia Davidson (Alan), Beverley Platellas (Ilias) and Bernice Stansbury (Don); and his cousins, Donald Finch and Elizabeth Hanrahan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
He was saddened as he was prevented from achieving his goal of 200 donations, having reached an impressive 184 when medical conditions prevented him from further donating.
