He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram R. Taylor and Nellie R. Taylor of St. John's; and his sister Helen L. Butt (H. Douglas Butt) of St. John's. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia J. Taylor; his daughter Heather E. Patey (Robert P. Patey); his grandchildren, Jean M. Patey and El R. E. Patey of St. John's; his son John C. R. Taylor-Hood; and his granddaughter Katherine E. A. Taylor-Hood of Torbay.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. David's Presbyterian Church (98 Elizabeth Ave, St. John's, NL A1B1R8). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (53 James Ln, St. John's, NL A1E3H3).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
