With sadness, we share the passing of Ronald Brendan Collins (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland). Ronald, born on May 14, 1946, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Collins and Gertrude Collins; his brothers, Gerald Collins (Carrie), Tommy Collins (Betty), John Collins and Eddie Collins; his cousins, Paul Brophy and Cliffton Brophy; and his close friend Gordon Piccott.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harold (Betty), Robert (Linda), Janet (late Charlie), Barbara (late Andrew), Gertrude (Roger) and Tony (Connie); and his cousins, Greg, Lynette Abbott, Chelsea (Alex Earle) and Jimmy Brophy. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel, LeMarchant Road. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
