She was predeceased by : her parents, Kevin Brophy and Mary Brophy; her brothers, Cyril and Reggie Brophy; and her parents-in-law, Johno and Josephine O'Rielly.

She is survived by : her husband Alphonsus; her children, Julie Doyle (Paul), Mark (Sharon) and Alphonsus (Jacynthe); her grandsons, Seamus and Culann Doyle; her brothers, Alastair (Pat), Randell (Barb), Ronald (Ekie), John (Audrey) and Bev (Ed); her close friends, Kerri Rowsell, Cathy Coady, Brenda Kennedy and Christine Barnable; and also, Arlene (Spencer), Cathy (Bob), Kenneth and Bonnie (Dave). She is also survived by many other family members, friends.
