He was predeceased by: his son Paul; and his parents, Max Boone and Mary Boone. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his son David; his daughter-in-law Charlotte; his grandchildren, Austin, Sophie and Nicholas Ivany; his brother Fred (late Lorraine); his nieces and nephews, Sandra Barrett, Michelle Leawood, Cindy Bruce, Lisa Power, Calvin and Doug Barrett; and his grandchildren, Rudy, Jasper, Georgina Smith, Derek Delouche, Kelly, Channon, Alice Walsh (late Tom), George, Betty Lethbridge, Bert and Marilyn Russell.

With Covid-19 restrictions applicable, visitation will take place at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Monday, August 17th from 1:00pm- 5:00pm.
