Valentine O'Rourke Obituary

We announce the death of Valentine O'Rourke of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 74. Valentine will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackie O'Rourke and Bernadette O'Rourke; his parents-in-law, Philip and Rosie Roche; his siblings, Dolores, Bride and Johnny; his siblings-in-law, Phil, Karen and Rosanne; and his nephews, Eddie and Jacob.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his son Adam (Richard); his siblings, Helen (Joe), Bernadette (Monty), Emma (Ron), Jacqueline and Freddie; and his in-laws, Annette (Gerard), Fabian, Sharon and Barb. He is also survived by his extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends, and especially his great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home Mount Pearl Chapel - Mt. Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7).
