He is survived by : his wife Patsy; his sons, Travis (Kerri Bungay) and Justin (Heather Snook); his granddaughters, Julia and Nora; his mother-in-law Winnifred Sturge; and his brothers, Bruce (Heidi), Glenn (Therese), Brian (Laura) and Derek (Monique). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Newfoundland and Labrador (CMHA_NL).
