Wayne left this world on November 28, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wells and Ella Wells; his brother Raymond; and his parents-in-law, Ernest and Annabelle Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Wells; his children, Lynette Wells (Wendy Murphy), Tony Wells (Siobhan Osmond) and Cathy Wells (Darren Farrell); his grandchildren, Dylan Byrne, Mackenzie Wells, Jasmine Chaulk, Jesse Chaulk and Jax Farrell; his great grandchild Maverick; his siblings, Aubrey Wells (Lorraine), Jack Wells (Elsie), Peter, Chris Kettle and Kim Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Cecil Walters, Viola Kettle (Wilson) and Mary Lou Walters.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the East Haven Funeral Home (57 Grand Bay Rd, Channel-Port aux Basques, NL A0M1C0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the James Anglican Church.
