Wilbur Carroll Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Wilbur Carroll (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland). Wilbur, born on October 6, 1939 in Tilting, Newfoundland, passed away on September 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Carroll and Ann Carroll; and his siblings, Joan Tarrant, Agnes Reardon, Kate Foley, Albert and John Carroll.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Carroll; his children, Lisa Durnford (Richard), Gwen Carroll (Chris George), Patrick Carroll (Lisa), Susan Kennedy (Fred) and David Caroll (Jacqueline); and his grandchildren, Chloe, Rachel Durnford, Andrew George, Will, Sam Carroll, Maddy, Charlie Kennedy, Jesse and Jude Carroll.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Families Parish (110 Ashford Dr, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3L6).

As a fitting tribute to his love of children and appreciation for a delicious meal, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the School Lunch Association.
