With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Abbott (Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Wilson J. Abbott; her parents, Uriel Mouland and Emmaline Mouland (Head); and her grandmother Abbott. She is survived by: her stepfather Lloyd Whiteway; her sister Marjorie Dalton (Fred); her children, Lawrence, Hazel, Randal (Evelyn) and Bernard (Sandra); her grandchildren, Derek (Roxanne), Dwayne, Shelley-Lynn (Wade), Katherine, Kyle and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Caylie and Colson; her sister Ella Wells (Claude); her aunt Josie; and her caregivers, Olie, Gail and Linda.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kittiwake Funeral Home (18 Arbourview Rd, Musgrave Harbour, NL A0G3J0). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel (418 Main Rd, Musgrave Harbour, NL A0G3J0).
