With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leo Barefoot (Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewart Barefoot and Minnie Barefoot (Sophie); his wife Sophie (Pope); and his siblings, Barry, Carl, Barbara, Cora and Alma.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene (Angela), Jeffery (Chrissy) and Joyce Starkes (Junior); his granddaughters, Danielle Gill (Terry) and Christa Nicholl (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Sebastian, Georgia, Scarlett and Jaxton; and his siblings, Eric, Claude, Nina Cahill (Mike), Elsie Howell (Art) and Margaret Carter (Roland).
