With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Sturge (Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland), who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Minnie Sturge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John Sturge (Sophie Preston) and Avalon W. Sturge; her son Fredrick; and her siblings, Ivy Kean, Percy, Corbett and Hedley.
She is survived by : her children, Eric (Sylvia), Philip (Sandra), Elotus (Joanne), Shirley (Clyde Parsons), Dorothy (Herbert Andrews), Sophie Lyall and Cynthia (Andy Best); and her sister Adelaide Sturge. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and a large number of other relatives and friends.
As an expression of sympathy and in her memory, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to The War Amps (NL Division) or Memorial United Church, Valleyfield.
