She was predeceased by: her parents, Gwendolyn Mouland and Mark Flynn (William Hicks); and her son David Hicks. She is survived by: her children, Curtis Hicks (Peggy), John Hicks and Brenda Wheaton (Byron) of Musgrave Harbour; her sister Laura Way of Gander; her sister-in-law Annie Mouland; and her grandchildren, Derek Hicks, Nadine Hicks, Velma Hicks, Tim Tulk (Chelsea), Stephen Tulk (Jodi), Shawn Tulk (Courtney), Deanne McDonnell (Donny) and Darlene Day (Clinton). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Citadel (418 Main Rd, Musgrave Harbour, NL A0G3J0).
