She was predeceased by: her former husband Donald Walters of English Harbour; her parents, Annie Hiscock and Roy Hiscock of Champney's West; her parents-in-law, Sidney, Edith Matthews, Donald and Florence Walters of English Harbour; and her brother-in-law George Dewling of Shoal Harbour.

She is survived by: her husband Cliff Matthews; her children, Nikita (Reg) and Lucas (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Aaron, Adrienne, Jade, Gemma, Sarah and Evan; and her stepson Dylan Matthews (Tera).
