He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Chesley and Clara Templeman; parents-in-law: Kenneth and Dorothy Bungay; wife: Muriel Templeman; children: Glenn (Kim), Darleen, and Gerald (Tracy); grandchildren: Karen, Jeffrey, Jessica, Matthew, Katie and Emily; sisters: Louise, Margaret (Douglas) Gray, Ada (Morley) Goodyear, Barbara (Otto) Gray, and Lurley Norris; brothers: Gerald (Zeta), Edwin (Shirley), and Wesley (Phyllis); brothers-in-law: Tom Norris, Harold Coleman, Jack (Sheila) Bungay, and Randall Bungay; sisters-in-law: Lucy Bungay and Annie Coleman; son-in-law: Hayward Stokes; and many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and many seamen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kittiwake Funeral Home- Pound Cove (69 Loop Hwy, Pound Cove, NL A0G0B6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Jehovah's Witnesses Cemetery (80 Main St, Lumsden, NL A0G3E0).
