It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosalind Emma Stokes (New-Wes-Valley, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 12, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Dackers and Ernest Dackers; her sisters, Jackie Elson and Lyn Wall; and her son Ernest Stokes.

She is survived by: her husband Wesley Stokes; her children, Ken Stokes (Cheryl), Todd Stokes, Terry Stokes and Kimberley Downton (Daniel); her brother Peter Dackers (Mae); her daughter-in-law Loretta Stokes; and her grandchildren, Andrew Stokes, Cody Stokes, Madison Crocker, Caleb Downton, Avery Stokes, Gabriel Downton and Kensleigh Thorne.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Rosalind's memory may be made to The Stokes Family.
