He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Pye and Selina Pye; his wife Stella; his siblings, Eric Pye and Enid Woods (Joseph); his children-in-law, Patsy Pye and Taylor Blackmore; his siblings-in-law, Irene Skiffington (Les), Gertie Gill (Jack), Sadie Trucker (Ed), Rose Vincent, Judy Pye, Harvey Simms, Ben Bungay and David Gosse; his nephews, David Gosse Jr., Craig, Darryl, Gerry Pye, Calvin and Luke Gill; and his niece Lynette MacFarland.

He is survived by: his children, Robert of Paradise, Irene (Ken) of Portugal Cove, Maxine (Garry) of Regina, SK., Maureen of Lumsden and Claudine (Emery) of St. Charles, NB.; his grandchildren, Sherri-Lyn (Jason), Karen (Tristen), Kris (Justine), Michelle (Robert), Robyn (Steve), Mitchell and Melissa; his siblings, Gerald Pye, Lois Gosse and Ina Dwyer (Lionel); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Pye, Daisy Bungay, Doris Simms (Clem Newbury), Robert Green (Mary) and Howard Vincent. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a large circle of other relatives & friends.
