She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Beaton Sr.; her granddaughter Lee Ann Pinksen (Penton); her parents, Ralph Dyke and Rita Dyke; her in-laws, Mary Jane and Archibald Beaton; and her siblings, Ambrose, Marshall Dyke, Lorraine Elliott (Edgar), Mary Bragg (George), Ida Peyton (John), Barbara Anstey (Earle) and Patience Cross (Willy).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Beaton (Lena), Stephen Beaton (Terri-Lynn), Linda Beaton (Garry), Effie Connors (Paul), Brenda Penton (Daniel), Lisa Ward (David), Hilda Garrick (William), Roxanne Sceviour (John) and Kimberly Vickers (Tony); her grandchildren, Cory Beaton, Christine Chiasson (Jason), Chad Beaton (Darlene), Leeann Blazik (Otto), Paulette Reid, Kayla Coleman (Scott), Brittany Garrick (Matthew), Kendra-Lee Haggart (David), Kandace Kooy (Ryan), Madison Beaton, Maiya Beaton, Cole Vickers and Liam Vickers; her great grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Jenna, Aleah, Paul, William, Hudson, Bella, Tristan, Cayden, Jacob, Calvin, Owen, Benjamin and Charlotte; and her brother Albert Dyke (Geraldine).
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside United Church (49 Norris Ave, Norris Arm, NL A0G3M0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice or to Riverside United Church Cemetery Fund.
