He is survived by : his wife Gerine; his stepchildren, Jacqueline Penney (Derrick Batten) and Jennifer Penney-Chaulk (Travis Chaulk); his grandchildren, Isaac Batten, Luke Batten and Adam Chaulk; his sisters-in-law, Edwina Martin, Marjorie Reid (James) and Eulah Howell; and his niece Hilda Frances.
