She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Ken Cornelaus Blanchard and Frederick Parsons; her parents, Edith Bishop (Goosney) and James Goosney; her siblings, Nancy Goosney, Audrey Goosney, Thelma (Hubert Caines), Una (Chesley Burden), Jessie (Russell Anderson), Beulah (Henley Parsons), Garland Goosney (Dorcas) and Robert Goosney; her stepbrothers, Guy Bishop and Elias Bishop (Emma); and her stepdaughters, Ruth Bath and Rosie (Don Mullin).

She is survived by: her children, Hughie (Connie), Morgan, Ambrose (Michelle), Corner, James (Marg) and Nevin; her stepsiblings, Sadie (Kevin McIsaac) and Reg Bishop (Rowell); her sister-in-law Rosie Goosney of Birchy Head, NL; her stepsister Carrie Bishop of Glenburnie, NL; her stepson Larry Bath of Grand Bay, NL; and also Shoal. She is also survived by other nephews, nieces relatives and friends.
