She was predeceased by : her husband Gerald. She is survived by : her children, Shari Stacey (Walter), Shawn Organ (Laura), Kim Shears (Bruce), Jennifer Maranta (Brian) and Anne Butt (Melvin); and her sister Shirley Sutton.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Margaret's memory to the Jenniex House or the Bonne Bay Health Centre Hospital Auxiliary.
