She was predeceased by: her former husband Douglas Vey; her husband Ronald Vaters; her son Leonard Vey; her parents, Allen Avery and Jessie Avery; and her siblings, Dorothy Wellon, Jean Smith, Joan Taylor and Clifford Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Sinclair (Merlin), Keith, George (Bonnie) and Bruce (Elsie); her siblings, Verley Bath, Melita Slade, George (Beaulh), Everett (Mildred) and Kenmore (Doreen); and also Olive. She is also survived by Her 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Zion Pentecostal Church North West. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Pentecostal Church.
