She was predeceased by: her husband Sebastien; her birth parents, John Baptiste and Alice Penunsi; her adoptive mother Mary Anne Selma; her granddaughter Kayla; and her siblings, Dominic, Sebastien and Germaine Rich.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne, Patricia, Peter, Johnny, George, Pien Daniel and Draper; her grandchildren, Asia, Sebastian G, Gavinis, Shaun, Nathan, Jocelyn, Tina A, Peter J, Hunter, Israel, Shimun, Calvin, Kristian, Joshua, Joachim, Philip, Donovan, Zoey and Zuri; her great grandchildren, AJ, Dreyah, Karlene, Mateo, Quinn, Rylen, Kayla, Tapit, Ty, Joelyna, Tyra and Debwewin; her great great grandchild Tydus; and her sisters, Mary Anne Abraham, Francis Nui, Annie Rich, Judy Penunsi and Madeline Penunsi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre's Funeral Home (45 Aspen Rd, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL A0P). A wake was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at 2 Coronation St, North West River, NL A0P0B2. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Roman Catholic Church (Sheshatshiu, NL).
