He was predeceased by: his son Darrell; his parents, John and Janie; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Sellars and Gary Milley.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his granddaughters, Michelle, Holly and Melissa; his sister Joan Sellars of Carbonear; and his niece Rochelle Milley of Western Bay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
